Open Water Diver

PADI® Open Water Diver is the first scuba certification level. A PADI Instructor will teach you how to scuba dive in a relaxed, supportive learning environment.

By the end of the course, you’ll have the skills and knowledge to dive at home or abroad and be an ambassador for the underwater world.

All equipment is supplied. However, we do encourage students to visit their local dive shop and purchase their own boots, fins and mask sooner than later.

What You’ll Learn

  • Be a confident and skilled diver
  • Dive independently with a buddy
  • Go no deeper than 18m
  • Assemble and use scuba gear
  • Manage your buoyancy
  • Respectfully approach marine life
  • Handle common problems

Time

  • 5-10 hours e-learning
  • Total 3-4 days
  • One Confined (Pool) training
  • Dives 1&2 Beach dives.
  • Dives 3&4 Boat dives.

Requirements

  • 14+ years old
  • Able to swim 200 meters non-stop and float for 10 minutes
  • Complete the PADI medical form and be fit to dive
